Our Story
Doctora was founded in 2025 to fix a familiar problem in optometry: too many clicks and too much time spent charting. Modern AI should remove the busywork so doctors can finish on time and make it home for dinner.
The spark came from our CEO, Beau Ragland, watching his mother—a devoted optometrist—trade evenings with family for hours of clicking and typing into the EHR. Her commitment to exceptional care showed us what was at stake and set our bar for quality.
