Pricing questions

Which plan should I choose?
Choose Doctora Core if you want a complete, reliable workflow for comprehensive eye exams and contact lens fittings. Choose Doctora Pro if your practice needs tech-to-doctor staged charting (Beta), new specialty fields, past-chart context, or payer-aware claim guidance.
Are custom instructions included in Core?
Yes. Both plans let you tune how each standard exam field is written and include standard exam templates. Pro lets you create entirely new fields for tests and specialty workflows beyond the standard exam.
How does per-provider pricing work?
Each doctor who charts in Doctora requires a paid provider seat. Every paid plan includes unlimited staff accounts for techs, front desk, billing, integrations, and user management; staff accounts do not consume provider seats. Pro adds the staged clinical workflow, currently in Beta, where a technician records during pretesting and hands the chart to the doctor for review and EHR send.
What does Beta mean for intake and eligibility?
Patient intake, card capture, and automated eligibility are included with Doctora Pro while we validate them with practices. We're tracking eligibility usage and still setting fair-use limits. We'll publish any limits before they take effect and give at least 30 days' notice before a change to beta pricing or availability.
Do annual plans cost less?
Yes. Annual billing saves 20%. Core is $199 per provider per month, billed as one $2,388 yearly payment per provider. Pro is $399 per provider per month, billed as one $4,788 yearly payment per provider.
